2009-07-27 [Silver Moon]: Erabas followed. He wasn't sure what to make of this place, the structure felt unnatural to him. He was used to rough stone, not polished. He was used to the open air, the 'buildings' he was accustomed to were that of caves, open to the elements, he felt uncomfortable closed in by the walls of the place and he feared his half brother lurked in hiding waiting to strike him. What if this was a trap? What if she lead him to his death? He fought such thoughts, if she wished him dead she could have let him bleed to death....instead she had saved him and opened her home to him...like he was actually worth something.

Elaria paused watching him wearily. "We aren't going to attack...we were trying to find the dining hall..." She said carefully shielding Sandra.

2009-07-27 [Silver Moon]: Elaria gently took Sandra's hand and lead her, she was careful not to walk too fast as she followed.

Erabas sighed releasing his grip and following. Too many years of battle, living a life full of false friends and treachery, full of lies and deceit, and now he was nearly drawing his sword anytime he met someone new. He sighed. Not sure if it could be helped. Not sure if he should trust these people or not. He had been wounded too many times...even by women.
His thoughts took a turn down a dark path. One of pain and memories he had tried so hard to bury, to forget to even try to wash away with strong drink. The woman that had hurt him the most. He sighed absently rubbing the scar on his cheek as he remembered, try as he might the visions came up once again to haunt him.
He stood holding his newborn son. His beautiful wife lay on the bed seemingly exhausted but happy as he named his son, Sayer. He had been called away when he returned Sayer lay in his cradle but wasn't moving. He ran to the cradle but knew before he reached it that his son was dead.
Then he heard laughter, cold, malicious, taunting laughter. He turned in time to receive the slice to his face. His wife stood there looking triumphant as she attacked him. "You thought I loved you? You trully were fool enough to believe that? Your brother assigned me the task to make you happy then snatch it away. I never wanted a child and I was glad to be rid of it!" She said as she attacked. As the vision invaded he swung his fist into the wall anger and hurt burning his eyes as he growled hoping to ban that horror, bar it from his mind.
He wanted to scream to curse men and women alike.

Ealaria watched him wearily as he continued to pummel the wall. She wondered if the man were ill.

Erabas sank to the floor not meeting her eye He tried to stay strong but tears rolled down his face. He finally managed one word. "Sorry..."

2009-07-27 [Silver Moon]: He slowly nodded. He was surprised when he shakily retold her what had taken place in his past. He had never told anyone but he felt like he could trust her, he wasn't sure why.
"I...was a skilled fighter...she wasn't...I killed her. Even though she killed Sayer...our own son...I still loved her...no...maybe I was trully in love with the lie...the woman I thought she was..." He looked at her as though haunted. She realized he looked like he was a man who had slept little, had no friends and tried to drown his past with liquor, he looked like a man who desperately needed love, needed reassuring there was good in the world. "How...how can a woman....bear a child only to destroy it? He couldn't defend himself, he was a babe...not even a day old...and she slit his throat...my little Sayer...I felt like I had died that day....a pat of me was ripped out, leaving a wound deeper then any of these scars...I live with the reminder of her treachery every day...of my son's death...with this." He put a hand to his scar. "He was so beautiful...big dark gold eyes...black hair...perhaps he would have looked like me...had he lived...but he was killed...killed by one of the people that should have loved him, shielded him from hurt...how can a mother do such a thing?" He asked as his voice broke a little.
